Destry Maycock, LCSW has over fourteen years experience working with children and families as a professional social worker. He earned his Master of Social Work degree in 2001 from the University of Utah and is currently employed as a Child Welfare administrator and clinical therapist.

Destry has helped hundreds of parents solve a variety of parenting challenges and strengthen their relationships with their children. He has also taught many parenting courses, provided family therapy and studied the topic of parenting thoroughly throughout his career.

When he isn’t in the office or "out in the field", Destry enjoys running his own business, Goldstar Products and developing tools that help parents with the difficult duty of raising children. After having some great success with the www.thejarofconsequences.com web site, Destry developed www.parentingstore.com to add additional products for parents to use with their children.

Destry is also the father of five children (one who is a teenager and four who will eventually become teenagers).
